About Us
Seafield Environment Group has been established by a group of local people to promote conservation and improvement of the marine and natural environment at Seafield Beach.
We seek to raise awareness by education and community involvement in practical projects that benefit and raise the profile of our coastal heritage.

We choose to define "Seafield Beach" as being the sea shore and it's immediate environs at Kirkcaldy extending from Tiel Burn to Seafield Tower.

Where to find us
Seafield Beach can be accessed via the Fife Council picnic area off Seafield Road (turn right before you get to the (now closed) B&Q DIY store).
You can get there via a regular bus route (No. 7 bus from Kirkcaldy bus station – stance 13).
If you’re coming from further afield, Kirkcaldy also has a major train station which is only a 2 minute walk from the bus station, or 15 minutes from the Seafield end of town.

Would you like to organise your own cleanup? As volunteers we’d welcome any help, if you’d like to join our group please get in touch. If you’d like to follow our lead and organise a cleanup at another location in Fife then we’ve created a page of useful information on where to get help.
